Syllabus Of UPSC Mains Exam.



UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) Is an Examination which Is in the list of world's Most Toughest Examinations.Success rate In UPSC is very less Around 0.3%.
But Now one knows who will be in those 0.3% peoples...

So Today We will see the Syllabus of Mains Examination of UPSC.

There will be Total Nine Exams of UPSC MAINS From which 1st two will be qualifying exams,whose marks will not be added to the final merit list.

QUALIFYING EXAMINATIONS :

Paper A = Compulsury Indian Language.

Paper B = English.

MAINS EXAMINATION :

Paper 1 : Essay ( Medium depends upon                           Candidate's Choice).

Paper 2 : Indian Heritage And Culture,                                  History , Geography of World                                    And Society.

Paper 3 : Governance , Constitution,Welfare                           Initiatives,Social Justice And                                    International Relations.

Paper 4 : Technology,Economic develop.,
                  Agriculture,Bidiversity,Security,
                  Disaster Management.     

Paper 5 :  Ethics,Intergrity,And Aptitude.

Paper 6 :  OPTIONAL SUBJECT ( Paper 1 ).

Paper 7 :  OPTIONAL SUBJECT  (Paper 2 ).

MARKS FOR QUALIFYING PAPERS : 

PAPER A : 300 Marks.

PAPER B : 300 Marks.

MARKS FOR MAINS PAPER :

PAPER 1 : 250 Marks.

PAPER 2 : 250 Marks.

PAPER 3 : 250 Marks.

PAPER 4 : 250 Marks.

PAPER 5 : 250 Marks.

OPTIONAL SUBJECT (PAPER 6) : 250 Marks.

OPTIONAL SUBJECT (PAPER 7) : 250 Marks.

So, This is the Syllabus Pattern of UPSC Examination And questions will be asked from this syllabus...UPSC never asks questions that is from out of syllabus.
